This policy describes how Coherent Photonics, Inc. collects, uses and safeguards personal data submitted through our websites and applications-lab registrations. Last updated: April 2026.
Through inquiry forms, applications-lab registrations and technical-downloads portals, we collect: full name, company / institute, work email, country, platform interest, and the technical description you provide. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser, referring page, timestamp) for security and analytics.
Personal data is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry, prepare characterization dossiers, coordinate applications-lab visits, dispatch technical literature and — where you have opted in — deliver product-update emails. We do not sell personal data.
Inquiry records are retained for up to 36 months from last contact for applications-engineering context. Applications-lab records are retained for up to 7 years as part of characterization-dossier traceability. You may request deletion at any time where not prohibited by other regulatory obligations.
We use a limited set of vetted processors for CRM, email delivery and analytics. All processors are bound by data-processing agreements aligned with GDPR and CCPA requirements. Names of current processors can be provided on request.
Coherent operates technology centers in the United States, Germany, Finland and Singapore. Personal data may be transferred between these regions for applications-engineering coordination. Transfers outside the EEA use Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal basis.
